Battleship! Just when you thought it was safe.... Take advantage of the popular movie out in DVD and get your students to practice using coordinates just as the heros must in the movie. A whole new approach for the kids to use -instead of calling out B2 or D5, they need to use longitude and latitude.
Movie 1: The Revenant (2015). My rating: 3.5/5. Stunning scenery, fantastic directing, believable and unique characters, great acting, and yet the whole thing is incredibly unpleasant. That was one of the goals, I guess! I didn't feel that it was the plot that redeemed it, but the way that the beauty and power of nature was captured.
"My Big Fat Greek Wedding." I hadn't seen this since it first came out. It's actually better than I remember! Really hilarious and likeable characters, a few "laugh out loud" moments, and a sweet ending. Aww.
Please take your time out of your life and read this. This is a very cute and sad story, and if it's really true, then I'm happy for the man who adopted the Black Lab, and I think they should make a book/movie out of this.
