Diana, Princess of Wales attended a Gala performance of Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden in London on December 16, 1987. She looked stunning in a midnight - blue silk - tulle, strapless dress decorated with daimant stars by designer Murray Arbeid. She had previously worn the same gown for a party at Claridge's in London in 1986.
I love this dress! It's one of those things that looks so much better ON than it does on the hanger (or headless mannequin). It's black velvet and white taffeta, and was worn by Princess Diana in December 1985, when she attended the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers Banquet at Mansion House. Love the fan, too!
