We all know the stage musical HAIR, but the film adaptation, directed by Miloš Forman, came out in 1979, well after the demise of the Age of Aquarius, and thus didn't make much of a dent at the box office. The movie deviates greatly from the original stage production, but Forman, despite being born and raised in Czechoslovakia, manages to capture the zeitgeist of the era. No wonder he'd go on to win an Oscar a few years later for AMADEUS.

Hair 1968 One of my favorites. Love the music and still laugh at how shocked folks were back then by this show.

Let the Sun shine in! And I can now say that I sang and danced on a Broadway stage! (not that anyone would know...)
