Emerald Pools, Zion National Park. We hiked the Lower, Middle and Upper Pool trail. You get what you climb for. Absolutely stunning. Paved trail at the start is similar to the Riverside walk, as you turn the corner towards the pools you get amazing views of peaks-- waterfall--incredible shots! We went during off season, not crowded at the end of Sept.
Have camped at Blackwoods Campground, with friends and kids 4 times. Days filled with hikes, walks, biking, swimming, eating, relaxing around the fire, laughing together in some of the most scenic places in North America. No wonder we all want to go again!
Snowdonia is otherworldly in its beauty. If you like to hike, this is the place to go. There are endless places to explore, with rolling green peaks and clear hanging lakes, and small slate-bedecked towns are dotted throughout. It is quintessential lush, unkempt Welsh countryside.
