Giant Panda Cub in the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC. Truth be told, the panda is better viewed on the online pandacam, but the park is really nicely laid out and makes for a nice stroll. The gift shops are fabulous and sometimes even have very reasonable prices. It's free! It's great for kids!
National Zoo: The habitats are amazing! They just built a large area for a heard for elephants. It has the only pandas in the US. A lot of walking and you have to turn around an go all the way back when you get to the end. Free of course $2 for a map
