"Fury" (TV Show) "FURY!..The story of a horse..and a boy who loves him." was a popular Saturday morning show in reruns that originally aired on NBC from 1955–1960, starring Peter Graves as Jim Newton ( who operates the Broken Wheel Ranch in California), Bobby Diamond as Jim's adopted son, Joey Clark Newton, and William Fawcett as ranch hand Pete Wilkey. Roger Mobley co-starred in the three last seasons as Homer "Packy" Lambert, a friend of Joey's.
He was thought to be the most popular horse in the country during the 1950s. He held the title role on the popular NBC Saturday morning television series "Fury", which was also broadcast around the world. Registered at birth with the name of Highland Dale, he also starred in the movies, "Black Beauty", "Brave Stallion", "Gypsy Colt", "Wild is the Wind", "The Return of Wildfire", and "Giant" with Elizabeth Taylor. He won several Patsy Awards.
