This quote describes the struggle of the adolescent. We are constantly searching for our identity, the one thing people assume we all know. How often are we asked to tell someone something about ourselves? I have no idea. I don't know anything about myself. My life up to this point has been a search to prioritize things that I am and things that I do in order to answer that innocuous-seeming question.
I have seen this around so much but I have to post it myself. As I look on the couch next to me as my husband holds my son and they sleep, I can't help but melt. My husband has always been a sweetie, but our son has revealed a whole new beautiful side to my husband- and I love it!!
