The Flatiron Building was constructed between 1901 and 1903 at the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Avenue, at the time one of the most prominent locations in New York City. It is situated near Madison Square at the end of the Ladies' Mile, one of Manhattan's most important shopping districts.
The Chelsea Hotel: The infamous Chelsea Hotel in New York City is one of the area's spookiest landmarks. Built in 1884, the hotel has been home to many notable writers, musicians and artists over the years. Even though many of its most famous occupants have since died, visitors claim to have spotted the apparitions of Dylan Thomas, Eugene O'Neil and Thomas Wolfe.
American Radiator Building, NYC, New York. This is right near Grand Central (also near the Chrysler Building). The American Radiator Building (since renamed to the American Standard Building) is a landmark skyscraper located in midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was conceived by the architects John Howells and Raymond Hood in 1924 and built for the American Radiator and Standard Sanitary Company.
