Walter Payton (1954 - 1999) Hall of Fame Professional Football Player. For thirteen seasons (1975 to 1987), he played at the running back position in the National Football League with the Chicago Bears. Nicknamed "Sweetness", he was one of the greatest running backs in NFL history.
