Personally we do use honey, raw sugar, stevia ( the Stevia rebaudiana plants that we grow), some molasses and occasionally maple syrup. Odd living in Maple Country where we celebrate an annual Maple Festival that we don't use it more but it is just too sweet and overpowering. - Brandon
