"Untitled" 1957 Harold Krisel (1920 - 1995) studied architecture in Chicago at the New Bauhaus from 1946-1949. Once retired,he joined American Abstract Artists & met artists like Piet Mondrian, and befriended design luminaries like Gyorgy Kepes—founder of the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at MIT— and Harold Cohen. He also started creating a dazzling body of screenprints and paintings that few would see until nearly 60 years later.
