Vintage Bakelite and Bullet Parthenon Architectural Model

This wonderful architectural model of the Parthenon has a black bakelite roof and bullet columns. It also features a wood pediment & frieze and wood capitals with a black bakelite stylobate. It measures 7 1/2 inches long and 4 5/8 inch wide and 3 5/8 inch tall. The proportions look good to me. My feeling is that it was made in the late 1940's. It was signed by Carl Mansfield from Wilkes Barre, Pa. Handmade one-of-a-kind.
