(JH) Hands-down this is the best crib skirt tutorial I have found on the web. A little bit of sewing, some velcro pieces and anyone can make this. I made Maddie's based off these instructions (except for the little insert piece...I have decided to forgo that to keep the look really clean and simple) and they worked very, very well.
MSGM Lace and organza pencil skirt $330 EDITORS' NOTES & DETAILS MSGM's pretty pencil skirt is layered with sheer midnight-blue lace and black organza. This fitted style is lined to just above the knee for a contemporary peekaboo effect. Wear yours with a loose shirt and simple sandals.
This silhouette is something that would be appropriate, if worn with a little jacket, for a woman in the late 1800's, early 1900's. The dark color would be worn at night to dinner or a show, although the fabric would be entirely different, the high neckline, fullness of the skirt, and emphasis on the waist bring it to that era. 1/25/15
