This project correlates with my unit on forces and motion in my physical science middle school class. Over a span of three days, students design a car that will protect a raw egg from breaking when it hits the ground after being on a ramp. The students will then test and modify their design.
"Compare Sports Drinks with the Electrolyte Challenge": in this chemistry project, students use a simple circuit and a homemade sensor to investigate the electrolytes in various sports drinks and juices. Want to engage your students and really get them thinking? This physical science experiment will definitely do just that! Students melt stryofoam cups and determine if it is a physical change or a chemical change! Your students will LOVE this science activity!
