If you're short on space, or at least space for some plants, here's one way to build a little container garden that won't take up a ton of real estate on your floor or patio: use some plastic milk crates. You can find them just about anywhere, and most of us have a few around the house, whether they're serving as impromptu bookshelves or sitting somewhere dusty holding tools or decorations. Give them a new lease on life, and give yourself a tiny garden.
I did this! Plastic milk crates covered in fabric to use as a night stand/bookshelf in a girl's room. Very easy to do. I started with plain Elmer's glue to attach the fabric but found it very time consuming. Half way through the first crate I remembered I had a can of spray adhesive and I finished covering both crates in less than 20 minutes! Wanting to add a different color to the inside of it still-purple or pink maybe? Welcome any comments as this is my first DIY to post here.
