Plug In Vanity Lights

from Design asSisters

You’re so vain?

Easily rewire vanity lights so that they can be in any room with a normal plug and switch!  We have done this twice now and it has been really helpful especially in apartments that don’t have good lighting.

5 Step Vanity Lighting Tutorial- I could definitely use something like this for my dorm. I get terrible lighting on the side of my room that I use to get ready and do makeup in. I love that she used the lamp cords to plug them in; that makes them really easy to move in and out every year.

Vanity LED kit can be added to any current makeup vanity mirror setup in just minutes. Prices start at $39 for a 5ft kit, peek stick and plug.

Diy! Plug in vanity light. Bought this vanity light in ikea for $15 each and bought 4 packs of clear bulbs at home depot for $12. I have the plug in in the garage but you can also buy them at home depot. Ask for a plug in with no end they also come with an on and off switch. All you need to do is combine one wire to one of the shorter wires by twisting them together and put one of the stoppers on it to the same with the other short wire (we dont need the longer wire connected to the light)…
