I know that I'm often posting tips using these three particular oils, but that is because I use h ALL the time!! ----------------A few days ago, someone who is new to essential oils sent me a message asking me if there was an oil she could use to help provide relief for her husband's poison ivy. Well, poison ivy is something that my husband is constantly getting, and essential oils have been a God-send for him, so I had just the answer... ---
essential oils for poison ivy ~ 2 T water / 2T apple cider vinegar (use / Bragg’s “with the mother”) / 1t sea salt / 3 drops tea tree oil (cleansing) 3 drops peppermint (cooling) / 3 drops lavendar (calming) ~~ Mix this in a bowl or bottle and apply several times a day with a cotton square. Be sure to shake or mix well before each application.
Poison Ivy, Oak, and Sumac Information Center I actually heard about the baking soda and vinegar treatment on CSI this morning - had to google it, then had to pin so I'd have some ammunition for the next time I get this evil stuff!
