Cute hypertufa mushroom Recipe is 1 part Portland Cement, 1 part vermiculite, 1 part peat moss. No sand. I mixed the water until it had the constancy of cottage cheese - about 2 parts water but sometimes not that much and others a little more. You can't predict how much water because air humidity adds moisture to the vermiculite and peat moss.
GREAT for GARDENING - Hypertufa is a product that looks like cement but weighs less. A woman can actually manage to lift containers made out of hypertufa. It's a mix of Portland Cement, Peat Moss, Perlite and fiberglass fibers.
Very good step-by-step to make #Papercrete. A mix of about 3 parts paper pulp, 2 parts Portland cement and 1 part perlite. Lighter than hyperturfa and perfect newspaper recycling. Should also be good to make #raised beds and #retaining walls.
made these rocks out of boxes covered with garbage bags, then covered the boxes with chicken wire, then covered rock with about 3 inches of pigmented hypertufa (portland cement, sand, peat moss mix). Gardenweb has a hupertufa forum that is interesting.
