Tende is a small village in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur province of France near the border with Italy. It has been inhabited since the 7th Century (if not earlier) and has been part of various kingdoms affiliated with both France & Italy over the years.


Rocamadour (France) fairytale place on Earth. it is a commune in the Lot department in south-western France. It lies in the former province of Quercy. Rocamadour[1] has attracted visitors for its setting in a gorge above a tributary of the River Dordogne, and especially for its historical monuments and its sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which for centuries has attracted pilgrims from every country, among them kings, bishops, and nobles.


The Chateau des Singes (Castle of Monkeys) is really the Château à Cahaignes (Castle Cahaignes). It is located in Cahaignes, Eure, Upper Normandy, France. Abandoned in 1976.
