Quote on anxiety: This is one of the most frustrating things about having an anxiety disorder; knowing as you're freaking out that there's no reason to be freaked out. But lacking the ability to shut the emotion down. www.HealthyPlace.com
Don't wish it on anyone, and fighting the battle alone is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Yet a hidden smile comes out to the friends and family I have. Talk about strong! Never try to understand what someone is going through with anxiety, cause you cant. Just show you care and your there no matter how hard they push. That's love!
Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. You’re doing just fine.
Want to know what anxiety is? It's an overtaking of your life. It's seeing a car coming towards your car and automatically thinking "They will hit me and I will be killed." It is hearing your friend sigh after you finish speaking and automatically thinking "They were talking about me." It is losing your headphones and then frantically searching for them, not because you want to listen to music, but because it is something that you hold as constant. Imagine that as a daily thing.
