I have a bunch of russet potatoes that started sprouting in my veggie bin, so I my give this a try with my little one

  • Holly Dean

yes but once in a while not... they're treated sometimes so they won't sprout. i'm doing some this year, so far they're sprouting. just put them in a pile of leaves and let them grow. i read it's better to do that because they don't get scab and other problems that come with soil planting sometimes. the grow roots down to the earth under the leaves, and grow up to the sun.
