Philip was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. Philip was tested by Jesus about how to feed 5,000 people (John 6:4-7), and he was approached by Greeks who wanted to see Jesus (John 12:20-21).

why i raise my children without god.    although i don't agree with every point in this article, i think the author raises some very interesting character flaws in the bible. "The idea of God and an afterlife gives many of us structure, community and hope. I do not want religion to go away. I only want religion to be kept at home or in church [...]"
