### March (St. Patrick's Day) Word Puzzles: Identifying Fractional Parts

This handout targets identifying fractional parts as well as recognizing fractions in lowest terms. In each riddle set, specific words are given. The students are to figure out the correct fractional part of each particular word. If each fractional part is correctly identified, when the students write the letters, a new word is created. Each set of new words becomes a message. There are seven sets of March messages followed by question(s) for the students to answer.
