RIP Robin Williams.- Aaaaaaaand I'm crying again.<<<RIP Robin Williams. This man was, and always will be, part of my childhood. It's been two years but it still hurts that such an amazing person would commit suicide. Goes to show that people who may seem perfect are a really a mess inside.
As a kid, I could loose myself in those kind eyes and in a story, not unlike mine, about a broken family. And what I liked most about it was the fact that it didn't have the predicted happy ending with the family getting back together, because mine I knew it wasn't. *That* made me feel so much better and not that alone. Like I wasn't one anomaly in the order of society, like I could, as that family, start fresh. You made a difference here, Mr. Williams. And I'll forever love you for this!
Upon his award acceptance Robin Williams: "Most of all, I want to thank my father, up there, the man who when I said I wanted to be an actor, he said, 'Wonderful. Just have a back-up profession like welding'."
