In four years time rugby returns to the biggest sporting event on the planet as it will be back in the Olympics for the first time in almost 100 years. Today we look back on the history of rugby at the Olympics, and forward to Rio de Janeiro.

For London 2012, baseball and softball joined the likes of tug of war, lacrosse and polo as discontinued events. Golf and rugby sevens are set to be a part of Rio 2016. We caught up with Robbie Csontos, a professional athlete in skipping (known as jump rope in his native US), at the World Jump Rope Championship and saw how his sport combines co-ordination, endurance, athleticism and acrobatics.
