Lots of organizational ideas on this page. I like the thought of using a shoe organizer in the closet like this one to easily find supplies. This would enable me to clear out at least one of the sets of storage drawers from the room and make more space.

    I did this for school supplies and I love it. Hit all the sales and stocked up!!!

I've seen this for kitchen canisters, but it never occurred to me to do this for school supplies. cute! Would have to find some plastic jars or something, though. Not sure about glass in the classroom.

    You can use peanut butter jars. They are plastic and have lids which are easy to get on and off.

Maybe for the bookshelf area you're wanting to do in your room? Would be a great way to organize your school supplies & books! Perhaps even put a wipe off calendar in place of the 4 boards?

What a cool organizer for pens and such for my classroom. I'm making mine with pieces of PVC pipe I cut though and will be covering them with either decorative contact paper or using mod-podge and fabric. My lazy susan is painted black.
