The Smyrna Church located on Hwy 36, west of Searcy [Arkansas]. Built in 1876 from a white oak tree. The tree was cut in 1865, rings of stump under church verified. Much of the existing white oak wood is still seen inside. Smyrna is the oldest documented church building in Arkansas and is among five known antebellum churches still standing in the state.
