"So for fun, I created this color thesaurus for your reference. Of course, there are plenty more color names in the world, so, this is just to get you started." ~ Ingrid Sundberg http://ingridsnotes.wordpress.com/2014/02/04/the-color-thesaurus/
Polish blogger Maria analyses shades of green right for each season type: PEA GREEN (a commonly used colour name in Polish, it describes a light muted yellowy green). "For Light Spring, True Spring, True Autumn, Soft Autumn. Perhaps for Deep Autumn." I would never wear this, but along with other yellow-greens, this is one of my top fave colours for home decor - most of the wall in our house are varieties of this shade.
Often called the Rolls-Royce of greens at Cadillac prices, tsavorite a hundred times more rare than emerald. It is also cleaner, more brilliant and not oiled or treated in any way. Although Tsavorite is the name usually associated with the darker green garnet, there is no universally accepted standard that designates which shade of green qualifies a stone as tsavorite.
