The way it was (and still is): ITC Bookman used at the Broad Street J/M/Z (post-1995) and a recent construction sign at 59th Street/Columbus Circle set in ITC Franklin Gothic Light.

A rare photograph of JFK and Jackie embracing. Both hated pictures, and public affection. Beginning from JPK, JFK thought that showing public affection was a sign of the lower class and weakness, and he always avoided hand holding or other displays of affection in his early political career. In addition, he didn't receive much affection from his mother as a child, so he felt uncomfortable giving it. In his later years, it was obvious he was becoming more comfortable showing affection. - Y.
