Dye fabric using stuff you already have: Soak fabric in warm water until completely wet. In a pot, add 4 c. water, 1 c. vinegar & 1 small bottle of food coloring. Mix colors to get more color options. After mixing, place on stove on high. Put fabric in pot & move it around to make sure it gets wet. Put a lid on it & boil for 5 min. Rinse fabric under cold water. Hang to dry.
1 Container with an airtight lid 4 sponges cut in half (from $1 store) 1 cup of your favorite fabric softener 2 cups water WHAT TO DO: Mix the water and fabric softener in plastic container. Add the cut sponges so they can soak in the mixture. When ready to use, squeeze the excess liquid from 1 sponge and place into the dryer with your wet clothes. Run the dryer cycle as normal. Once complete place the now dry sponge back into the container of liquid for use next time.
Homemade Upholstery Cleaner: Mix 1pint boiling water and 2 tablespoons borax, let cool. Beat till foamy. Scrup fabric with rough cloth or brush ( don't soak fabric). Repeat as necessary. Clean with damp cloth as you go.
