Enjoy this free part part whole mat to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division! I use this mat to model during my whole group and small group lessons while my students are practicing the skills with their own personal mat. You can laminate these mats so they can be used with either manipulatives or number tiles.

Addition Strategy Mat! Much nicer looking than the one I use now. The blog post that goes with it has good ideas that would work well for sequencing summer math tutoring lessons around.

This mat is the perfect way to help your students grasp place value concepts. The ten frame also illustrates concepts like "how many more do we need to make the next ten?" in a concrete, hands on way. Enjoy!
