Harkness, and Oliver Burr Jennings, who had married the sister of William Rockefeller's wife. In 1870 Rockefeller incorporated Standard Oil in Ohio.

Standard Oil Map from Indiana...Reminds me of the Standard Oil Service Station that Larry purchased in 2008 from Charles Ellis and had moved to Red Oak II and beautifully restored. It now has a permanent home on our property at Red Oak II. This little Station is the oldest known Standard Station still in existence that was originally on historic Route 66.
