T-38 Talon - My husband's plane is sitting on the flight line in San Antonio. They painted his name back on the plane for the anniversary. He was in the first graduating class of the T-38. The USAF brought us down for the celebration!

The Northrop T-38 Talon is the US Air Force's primary supersonic jet trainer. Development of the famous F-5 Tiger/Freedom Fighter lineage, which serves in a combat role in several workd air forces. Several fleets are still being updated with new avionics etc, rather than being replaced. Also used as chase aircraft for test projects, NASA missions, & dissimilar aggressor training as & when required.
