No one may be as time-stretched as South Koreans. In order to help save time, South Korean supermarket giant, Tesco, found a clever way to bring the grocery store to the consumer. Tesco launched a QR Code campaign that plastered enormous images of food items onto South Korean subway walls. These images came with a QR Code, and allowed consumers to scan individual food items to be loaded in their virtual shopping cart.
Too hot for shopping? Take the Khlong Saen Saeb Express Boat to the Mall Bangkapi. Drizzle with a bit of shopping in the mall. Often something exciting is happening on the center stage. Kids love the fish pond and other activities in the center. Small mall acros the street. Behind that lots of food vendors. Eastward on Lad Prao Rd you will find a big Tesco and then a freshmarket, which is not so fresh if you get there at the end of the day...so go in the morning :-)
