I'm in Thailand and am heading to Bangkok next weekend. I've wanted a Sak Yant and a lotus since last year. I'm thinking of doing this Neck down my spine. Tattoo parlour I've spoken to said it'll have to be at least 10 inches for traditional bamboo inking. So I'm wondering if maybe I just get the top 5 columns with the lotus finishing it at the bottom or if I should start with the lotus and finish with the 5 columns.

Sak Yank — The MAIN reason why I want to visit Thailand! “This is a sacred yant tattoo I got in Wat Bang Pra Thailand by a Buddhist monk. The design basically is a reminder to follow the Dharma (or the middle path), and prayers of protection are whispered into your back as they tattoo it with a large thin needle.” — Bucket list.
