Arsenio Hall returns to late-night TV in 2013

ARSENIO HALL (born February 12, 1956 Cleveland, Ohio) After gaining fame as a stand-up comedian in Chicago, Hall began opening shows for prominent stars, including Aretha Franklin. He appeared in the 1980s film Coming to America and Harlem Nights, but is best known as the first black late-night talk show host—his groundbreaking talk show, The Arsenio Hall Show, ran from 1989 to 1994.

Arsenio Hall, The Arsenio Hall Show: Between 1989 and 1994, America was gripped by a plague of fist pumping and loud whoops known as the Arsenio Hall Show audience. Way before that, Arsenio was a wide-collared senior at Kent State University in Ohio in 1978. In 2013, Arsenio will star alongside Christina Ricci and Rosie Perez in the animated feature The Hero of Color City.

Janet Jackson & Arsenio Hall I so remember this interview. She was on tour and this was the only way to get the interview. This interview aired on his first talk show in the late 80s to the early 90s.
