(O) "The BFG" by Roald Dahl. illustrated by Quentin Blake. Other giants guzzle up whoppsy whiffling human beans, but the Big, Friendly Giant eats snozzcumbers and drinks frobscottle, instead. A marvelous adventure with a giant whose ears are SO big that he can hear dreams. He catches them and puffs the best ones to kids. Sophie finds that the BFG is too small to stop the others, but Sophie has the BFG whip up a special dream for the Queen to save the day! Dahl excels at made-up words.
