A Pretty Trimming Lace by The Dawn newspaper, 1 Sept. 1899. “The new and pretty lace shown is suitable for a variety of purposes, according to the fineness of the cotton in which it is worked. It is especially lacey-looking worked in No 16 or 18 cotton, in which it forms an admirable trimming for underclothes, while in thread of coarser texture it forms a durable and effective trimming for children’s pinafores and aprons.”
