Loved it. Excellent survival film about a group of oil pipe workers stranded in the Alaskan wild after a plane crash. Scariest movie I've seen in a long time. Liam Neeson, and the rest of the cast, including Dermot Mulroney, Frank Grillo, Joe Anderson, Dallas Roberts and James Badge Dale do an excellent job. It's an action movie filmed like an indie with good strong heart. I'd buy it.
The Grey (2011) was so emotionally draining to Roger Ebert that he left the following film he was set to review after 30 minutes. "It was the first time I've ever walked out of a film because of the previous film." - submitted by /u/NYPD-BLUE [link] [comments] Movie News and Discussion http://tvseriesfullepisodes.com/index.php/2016/02/28/the-grey-2011-was-so-emotionally-draining-to-roger-ebert-that-he-left-the-following-film-he-was-set-to-revi
The Grey Ending Scene - This should actually be on the board "Makes me Cry" but oh well. SPOILERS Ending to a heartbreaking but amazing movie and what a final scene. Song is actually "The City Surf" by Jamin Winans from the film "Ink". This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard.
The Grey is a 2012 American thriller film directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Liam Neeson. It follows a number of men stranded in Alaska after a plane crash, who are forced to survive using little more than their wits as a pack of wolves stalks them. The film is based on the short story "Ghost Walker" by Ian MacKenzie Jeffers, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Carnahan.
