Elf on the Shelf captures the Grinch. The perfect elf setting for Grinch movie day or night. Either the 1966 cartoon with Boris Karloff or the 2000 film with Jim Carrey.

Ron Howard's remake of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I'm not a fan of "over-the-top" Jim Carrey, but this is one of several movies of his that I like a lot. I thought they did a great job making a feature film from a 26 min. short.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) - recommended by Christy Bledsoe as one of her own favorite Holiday films. "This film is a traditional movie of one going from bad to good. It also has a lot of humor!"

How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) [Retro Review]

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. ~Dr. Seuss
