Full Dress February 1799 Fashions of London and Paris, February 1799. “London Full Dress”. This magazine was only the second British publication after the London Gazette.


The Saloon was designed by Thomas Allom and completed in the 1860s. Allom was an English architecture, who designed London's Church of St. Peter's and parts of the Ladbroke Estate in Notting Hill. He worked with Sir Charles Barry on the Houses of Parliament. Like the Entrance Hall, the Saloon is in the Gothic style with leather wall coverings that date to 1631.
