The Residents - One-Minute Movies. THE RESIDENTS. The Residents unknown band members never appear in public without some form of mask or 'eyeball helmet'. They preceded New Wave, with their satirical video collages & parodies of music in short little avante-garde ditties that tell an ambiguous story. Totally off the wall. The Residents. I saw them in concert in February 1986 (or 87), and it was the most befuddling show I've ever seen.

I created this for the residents that I care for, most have dementia, I've used toys, jewellery, hair bobbles, boxes, to give an example. There are items that have lights and noise for sensory stimulation.

A piece I made for my Sociology final, where I was given the assignment to "change the world." I volunteered at a nursing home and had some of the residents paint a few craft sticks each. My siblings' school also made some. I then glued the crafts sticks onto a foam core board, framed it, and it will be hung on a wall in the nursing home for the residents that made it to see everyday and hopefully feel proud of what they did.
