The Shining- this is the scariest shot ever. think it's one of the reasons I went to film school and am able to breakdown a scene. Terrifying moment while watching the film- Kubrick is King with what he knows.

The Shining is an excellent horror film based off of a Steven King novel. John Alcott, the cinematographer for The Shining, used shots to make the audience feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic, adding to the chilling and trapped vibe the movie has. http://mattburnscoventry.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/261mc-cinematography-review-the-shining/
