Mary Hopkins "Those Were the Days" 1968 was produced by Paul McCartney. The Russian origin of the melody was accentuated by use of a balalaika, clarinet, hammered dulcimer, tenor banjo and children's chorus.

I used to LOVE going to the drive-in!! When I was little, we would go in our pjs with popcorn popped from home, blankets and pillows and sometimes something sweet. We would lay on the hood of the car with our pillows on the windshield. Those were the days!!

All in the Family TV Intro (70's) ok ok this probably wasn't what i was tooning into on a saturday morning on my day off from school with a bowl of serial drooling down my chin inches away from the t.v. but I loved this show. My mom was really into it too. Edith really reminded me alot of my grandmother.
