Basilica Saint Sernin, in Toulouse, France (my hometown) Roman Catholic. Year consecrated:1180 - As well as Saint Saturnin, Saint Honoratus is also buried here.The crypt contains the relics of many other saints. It is said to include a thorn that used to belong to the "Crown of Thorns" Jesus wore during his crucifixion. The Basilica of St. Sernin was designated in 1998 a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its significance to the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route.
