Bamboo thrives in the bathroom. Lucky bamboo needs very little light and should be placed in low, indirect light. It doesn’t even need any soil – simply pop the stalk into a container filled with pebbles and water. Change the water every two to four weeks. Be warned that this is a fast growing plant, but you can curtail its growth by providing a physical barrier (such as a recessed shelf) or by shaping it regularly.
The use of lighting from all directions accentuate the tropical feel of this outdoor space. Lights within the pool, landscape lighting illuminating the waterfall and foliage, and recessed lights set low in the cabana provides a serene view of the lagoon-like pool area.
Art is the effort of man to express the ideas which nature suggests to him of a power above nature, whether that power be within the recesses of his own being, or in the Great First Cause of which nature, like himself, is but the effect. -reptilia
