A selection of 25 TV themes and images in chronological order from 1955 to 1970...boy this brings back lots of memories from my childhood !


I remember full-out RUNNING in from the other room to see the intro to The Partridge Family. Didn't care that much about the rest of the show, just the theme song, lol. I was probably 3 or 4.


THAT GIRL, opening theme. As you travel and live and walk around and rule the scene, wherever you are, this should be the theme music in your head. Whatever you think about this show (Marlo Thomas was the only good thing about it, really) or others of its era, the theme music from shows of this period was just superior.

Flipper NBC 09/64-04/67 The show was a TV adaptation of the 1963 movie about a bottlenose dolphin Flipper and his caregiver, Porter Ricks who is the chief warden of a marine preserve. Flipper and the Ricks family protect the marine park and keep it safe.
