Hearty Italian Vegetable Beef Soup - This is delicious and makes for a hearty lunch. I used 1/2 lb. sausage and 1 lb. ground beef, 4 cups of vegetable broth and 2 cups of water, and then added 1/2 cup red cooking wine and a can of green beans. I had to cook it for an hour to ensure the veggies were soft. I froze half of it for lunches.
Best soup I have ever made. Cooked on stove, added cabbage and used kidney beans instead. Oh so good. Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup - loaded with lots of vegetables, beef and tons of flavor! Perfect fall and winter soup made right in your Crock-Pot.
