Here's a quickie but most definitely a goodie! I'm going to New York again, this time for the SAVEUR Blog Awards, where Vermilion Roots has been nominated as a finalist in the Best New Voice category. I can't thank you enough for your support in voting and cheering me on. The nomination itself has already been such a great honor and I look forward to meeting all the talented bloggers from around the world.
Located in a remote area of the Vermilion Cliffs #NationalMonument (#Arizona), #WhitePocket is a hidden treasure of swirling, twisting Navajo sandstone. Getting here is a bit of a challenge -- it requires a specialty vehicle -- but the reward is definitely worth the effort!
I really like this picture because I haven’t really travelled much and it’s definitely something I want to do. The colours in this picture are pretty amazing too which makes it inspiring. | Photo taken by Vitali Hantsevich for National Geographic.
