Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall | I remember visiting the wall as a boy with my father who served as United States Marine in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. It was an emotional, memorable experience to say the least. | Thank God for our #veterans

SHAMEFUL!! The Republican party continues to vilify the working poor, seniors, veterans+children!! Look at the wealthy GOP as they funnel taxpayers money to the rich!! CUT SUBSIDIES, CUT TAX EXEMPT STATUS TO THE NFL+ CHURCHES, CUT TAX LOOPHOLES, CUT TAX HAVENS....ENOUGH!!
The role of the WASP during WWII was forgotten, and they were left out of many official histories of WWII. In addition, they were denied Veteran's status for 35 years, and in 2009, President Obama signed into law a Senate bill providing the Congressional Gold Medal to the WASP.
